NOTE: The "star" on the Yahoo map is only approximate, because Moore Dr was the only close link. Use the parking lot across the street from the visitors center. Plan on doing anywhere from 25 to 35 miles, depending on daylight and/or weather. This is a B paced ride going into Harriman State Park. |

Sterling Forest Visitors Center, Old Forge Road, Sterling Forest NY: From Route 17 take Exit 131. Take Route 17 South for 7 miles, exit right onto Route 17A. Go 1.3 miles on Route 17A. Make a left turn onto Long Meadow Road (CR 84). Go 3.5 miles on Long Meadow Road and make a right onto Old Forge Road. Go approx 1/2 mile and make a left into overflow parking lot for the Visitors Center.
